I loved spending time with my sister, her kids, her husband, and one of my brothers who came Saturday to help with the move. We were able to share without judgment our hopes, disappointments, and service. It was a special crazy time. Fortunately, I was able to do some Reiki sessions with each of the adults to help them relax and get through the stress. We also had a group prayer which brought total peace to our minds and hearts.
I so admire my sister and her husband they are a perfect example of romantic and familial love. They are always there for each other and take life in stride moment by moment. Yet they plan for the future and share hopes and dreams. This move is a real test of their faith as they are moving into a hotel as part of the transition. They are hoping to close on a house very soon, but much is contingent on the sale of their old home. They are literally walking into the dark following their hearts. I trust and pray that divine providence will continue to pave the way for them to meet the needs of their special young family.
As for me, when I arrived home I collapsed in bed for three hours, got up and took a hot bath and then went back to bed until morning. I don't know how they go go go. Of course, I am (t--yrs.) older than my sister, but I thought I had more energy than this weekend proved I do. Being there for each other is love in action. Now to meet my own little families needs as we prepare to go back to school after a wonderful summer.
Love Rules!
