Love has to do with everything and everything has to do with love (or a lack of it). To understand this, we need an agreed-upon definition of love. For this discussion, love will be defined as the positive energy of creation...
"There is only one moment in time when it is essential to awaken. That moment is now!" -The Buddha (c.563-c.483BC)
Here is a great example of love in action!
As I have studied alternative healing, I have become acquainted with many New-age and "Old-age" beliefs, many of which dovetail with my personal knowledge and faith, because they share love as a central focus. I respect and greatly benefit from the teachings and beliefs of others. On a personal level, it concerns me when people minimize the power of Christ in their lives by reducing his role to that of a "prophet" or "great teacher". He is so much more than that. If we are to fully realize his message of love within ourselves, it is important to know who he really is. Jesus Christ is the Creator and the literal Son of God. If it were not for him coming into our temporal existence and his atonement, we would not be able to attain the highest in us (enlightenment, exaltation, or the like), because he made Oneness possible. We came to this existence to experience what we did not know or comprehend previously. We came to experience separation from God and our true selves that we might know God and ourselves in a new light. Christ literally created the spiritual re-connections that only he could create. As a result of Christ's atonement, we can become reconnected to God and our true selves within this lifetime. (Note- In the English language at-one-ment suggests that we become one with another. Other languages indicate that atonement means reconciliation which comes from Latin roots and literally means "to sit again with"). The love of God unites us, yet often our different perspectives on who or what God is too often divides us. Please receive my declaration in the spirit of love with which it is intended.
